Stress…Bye Bye
Stress | March 26, 2011 | ShareAs we grow older, life seems tougher and more complicated, with a new challenge for us to face every day. With hectic working schedules and deadlines, stress is eating up the generation’s emotional physical and spiritual wellbeing. With the pressure of responsibilities and expectations increasing on everyone’s shoulder, some moments of relaxation are needed in a person’s daily routine. So, here I am talking about some refreshing tips for releasing stress and anxiety and getting some priceless moments of relaxation. There is a need to rejuvenate one’s mind, body and spirit by doing something different from the day-to-day routine.
You have to take some time out from your routine and fix the time limit for whichever stress releasing activity you are adopting. A warm bubble bath with essential oils to improve body’s physical and emotional health can act as a helpful stress buster. These rosemary, geranium and bergamot oils also tend to improve one’s nervous system. A good 8- 10 hours sound sleep can also fresh you up and make you feel better. New research says that plants are the source of positive energy and activities like watering, pruning or transplanting plants can be a good stress eliminator. Another way out can be snuggling, it has been observed that whenever a person cuddles with another person or pet, he or she feels relaxed and comforted.
Techniques like deep breathing, body massage, muscle relaxation, yoga, meditation and visualization enhances body’s natural relaxation response and boosts a feeling of happiness. They will help you to stay calm and deal with challenges with sensibility and strength. A healthy diet including fresh vegetables, fruits and juices like carrot, beat & orange can make you feel stronger. They contain vitamins and anti-oxidants in high quantities that will make you fit and feel good washing away all the stress.
Life is too short to take stress and to think twice about your wishes. In this race, take out a moment and think, it’s time to focus on the good and happier aspects of life. Nature has briefed everyone recently considering Japan as an example. Do whatever you wish for and have a happy and fulfilling life because life offers no guarantee.

I agree with you, “There is a need to rejuvenate one’s mind, body and spirit by doing something different from the day-to-day routine.” Stress is one of several causes of disease. While most people recognize that stress is generally unhealthy, they fail to realize how it effects their lives. Research has linked chronic stress to poor immune function, heart disease, mental decline, weight gain, increased risk of cancer, arthritis, sleep problems, depression and diabetes, among other things.
